Plano Market Conditions for 75093 - Half Year Statistics


When you read about and hear about Real Estate tanking all over the country, you must not take that literally, Real Estate is market driven and varies greatly from every region in the country. Although the market has been a little softer in Plano for past month, the outlook remains very good.  Hot weather, cost of living increases, (utility & gas eek!) when school starts etc. all have a bearing on the market and it takes time to adjust accordingly!  Dallas Market as a whole is 11% undervalued and the last Southwest City to not experience huge appreciation in a short amount of time.  Hold on, with prices south of us getting on the very high end, Uptown, Park Cities, Preston Hollow, North Dallas etc. West Plano is right in line for the next spurt of growth....stay tuned.  The upper end market has been extremely strong and Plano has excellent schools, but properties still need to be priced correctly for the neighborhood, if its been sitting for a while then the price is not right, buyers can take advantage of this if you have a knowledgeable REALTOR.  Below are 2006 half year stats for 75093, you can see specific neighborhoods by clicking the neighborhood statistics link
