Plano Real Estate Sales Data Year to Date

As the year is gracefully winding down, can't believe it's almost Halloween and Christmas decorations are already out!  Before Halloween?  Can you believe it?

Anyway, here's a report from the Collin County Realtors Association specifically for Plano.  Although homes sales are looking better overall the difficulty in the market right now is finding enough homes to preview.  If listing inventory would improve sales would be stronger than they are now.  Frankly, because buyers are not finding what they want.  The second issue is lending which is still difficult and we recommend that if you're a buyer - get pre approved.  Depending on a given area around town, contracts are falling out due to financing.  How much? Around 20% to 30%, Yes, that's right.  So sales would be better too if contracts weren't falling apart.  At least this info will give you some insight into the current market conditions.  Have a great weekend and if you have a question about real estate you know who to ask.
